About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic fluorescent lighting and reflections for interior architectural renders. Captured within a functional cafeteria space, this environment map features a distinct institutional aesthetic defined by long banks of bright blue lockers and warm-toned brick flooring. The lighting profile is dominated by overhead recessed fluorescent panels, which cast even, diffuse light across the scene and generate soft shadows. The composition includes rows of wooden cafeteria-style tables and benches, providing natural focal points for reflections on metallic surfaces or glass. The overall atmosphere is neutral and utilitarian, typical of school or corporate facility corridors, offering a balanced light source for interior visualisation projects.

The download is a 5.7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilise this file, load the.hdr map into the environment or dome light slot of your preferred rendering engine. Adjust the exposure settings to match your scene's scale and light intensity, as the map contains high dynamic range data suitable for global illumination. It is ideal for generating accurate indirect lighting and realistic reflections on furniture or architectural elements, particularly in scenes requiring a clean, institutional look without needing complex manual light setups.

This asset is well-suited for high-fidelity visualisations of educational facilities, corporate breakrooms, or public institutional buildings. It pairs effectively with modern furniture sets and can be used to populate the background of interior renders during the design development or presentation stages. Professionals searching for neutral, evenly-lit commercial environments will find this map useful for achieving consistent lighting conditions. It is particularly effective for projects requiring a realistic, quiet atmosphere that does not distract from the primary architectural or furniture design elements.
