About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic daylighting for a modern riverside plaza scene in HDR format. The environment map captures a contemporary riverside plaza characterized by extensive glazing, exposed concrete structural elements, and wide paved walkways. The architecture features clean, geometric lines typical of modern institutional or office complexes, with a clear sightline toward a water body and surrounding structural forms. The lighting is set during a clear midday period, offering high-contrast illumination with sharp shadows and bright, neutral highlights. This map is suitable for architectural visualization where a crisp, professional urban backdrop is required to ground a project within a realistic, high-end commercial or public setting.

The download is a 6.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into your renderer's primary world lighting or dome light slot. Ensure the gamma is set to 1.0 for accurate light intensity. You can rotate the map within your software's environment settings to align the sun position with your model's primary light requirements. For best results, use the map as the main light source to drive both reflections and global illumination, adjusting exposure and white balance as necessary for your specific camera settings.
