About this asset

This pair of classic black ornate wall mirrors for SketchUp features an intricate decorative pediment and a clean rectangular frame. These wall-mounted mirrors are defined by their traditional, ornate top pediments, which feature scrolling foliage motifs cast in a dark, matte finish. The main body of each mirror consists of a slender, rectangular frame surrounding a clear reflective glass surface. The design balances formal, historicist detailing at the crest with a minimalist, streamlined frame edge, making them versatile for various interior styles. Both pieces are presented as a set, sharing the same silhouette but offering slight variations in scale, ideal for creating a layered or symmetrical focal point on a wall.

The download is a 14.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these mirrors function as individual components, allowing for easy placement on vertical surfaces. Users should ensure the mirror backing is flush against the wall plane to avoid light leaks. The reflective properties can be adjusted via the material editor to suit specific render engine settings, while the geometry remains light enough for smooth viewport navigation. Scale the components proportionally as a group to maintain the integrity of the ornate detailing during the initial space planning phase of your project.

These mirrors are suited for high-end residential projects, such as dressing rooms, formal entryways, or above vanity consoles in bathrooms. They also work effectively in boutique hospitality settings, including hotel suites or restaurant powder rooms. When searching for these assets, professionals often look for ornate wall mirrors, decorative wall accents, or classic interior hardware. Pair them with patterned wallpaper or bold wall treatments to highlight the silhouette, or use them as a refined contrast against neutral, modern wall finishes in contemporary design schemes.
