About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic sunset lighting over a green field with distant industrial silhouettes. The environment map captures a wide-angle, 360-degree panoramic view of a lush green agricultural field at sunset. On the horizon, subtle industrial structures create distinct silhouettes against the fading light. The lighting profile features a soft, warm glow emanating from the sun's position, contrasting with the cool, expansive blue tones of the upper sky. The overall atmospheric quality is calm and clear, offering a balanced dynamic range suitable for high-fidelity architectural rendering. The ground plane consists of textured crop rows, providing realistic perspective and natural ground-level reflections for 3D scenes.

The download is a 6.1 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment or world lighting slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun's position with your scene's primary light source for consistent shadows and highlights. The 2K resolution is ideal for background plates and global illumination, providing sufficient detail for reflections without excessive memory overhead. Ensure the mapping type is set to spherical or equirectangular to maintain correct projection across your 3D environment.

This environment is well-suited for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly for projects located in semi-rural or industrial-edge settings. It pairs effectively with modern residential designs, infrastructure projects, or master planning schemes that require natural, late-afternoon lighting conditions. Professionals looking for a versatile backdrop will find this useful for site analysis renderings and conceptual daylight studies. It integrates seamlessly into scenes requiring a grounded, atmospheric context, providing both ambient light and a realistic horizon line for eye-level camera placements in landscape architecture.
