Day Environment HDRI 092

Day Environment HDRI 092 is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map providing natural midday lighting for architectural visualisations. This HDRI environment map features a clear, bright daylight scene captured along a riverbank. The spherical projection includes high-resolution visual data of the surrounding embankment, trees, and distant bridge infrastructure. The lighting profile is consistent with a sunny, cloud-dappled afternoon, offering a natural colour temperature and balanced shadows. It provides a complete 360-degree light source, ensuring that reflections on chrome or glossy surfaces within a 3D scene remain physically accurate and contextually relevant to the riverside setting. The map is processed to maintain high dynamic range, allowing for precise control over exposure and highlight intensity.

The download is a 9.7 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your chosen rendering engine, such as V-Ray, Corona, or Octane. It functions as the primary light source, eliminating the need for additional sun rigs. Adjust the rotation to align the brightest area of the sky with the desired light direction in your scene. For optimal results, ensure the gamma settings in your software are configured for linear workflow and apply the map as a spherical environment projection to maintain correct orientation.
