About this asset

This contemporary swivel armchair, modelled for SketchUp, features a white fabric upholstery set on a natural timber circular base. This contemporary armchair features a distinct rounded silhouette with a deep, curved seat shell. The upholstery is finished in a clean, neutral white fabric, complemented by a large, plush back cushion and a smaller rectangular lumbar pillow for added support. The entire structure rests upon a solid, circular natural wood base, providing a warm contrast to the light fabric. Its proportions are designed for comfort, with integrated low-profile armrests that follow the sweeping curve of the seat. The overall aesthetic is balanced, blending soft textile textures with the organic grain of the timber pedestal.

The download is a 10.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom materials or adjust the fabric mapping within the native software to suit specific project palettes. The circular base is a separate component, allowing for easy rotation or replacement if a different finish is required. For high-quality visualisations, ensure the base geometry is correctly aligned with the floor plane, and apply appropriate smoothing settings to the curved surfaces to maintain clean edges during rendering.

Ideal for residential living rooms, modern hotel lobbies, or boutique office breakout areas, this chair serves as a versatile accent piece.
