About this asset

This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides realistic midday lighting and reflections for exterior architectural renders. Captured in a public park setting, this HDRI environment map features a bright, clear sky and natural midday sunlight. The scene includes a central wooden platform, surrounding trees, and a large shade structure, which are reflected in the included reference spheres. The lighting profile is neutral and balanced, providing consistent illumination for both diffuse surfaces and glossy materials. This map is designed to serve as the primary light source for 3D scenes, ensuring that reflections and shadows remain physically accurate and coherent with the global environment capture.

The download is a 10.4 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene's desired lighting angle. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically generate realistic ambient occlusion and sharp shadows. For optimal results, use the map as a background plate and ensure your camera exposure settings are calibrated to the bright daylight values present in the original capture.

This environment map is suitable for exterior residential and landscape design projects where a natural, sunny park context is required. It works well for daylight studies, architectural visualizations of outdoor amenities, and general garden design. Professionals searching for natural daytime lighting conditions, clear-sky environment maps, or park-based lighting rigs will find this asset useful for establishing a believable sense of place and time in their renders, particularly during the early concept and final presentation stages of a project.
