About this asset

This tileable, 2K PBR concrete paver texture features a weathered running bond pattern, ideal for exterior flooring projects. This PBR texture set captures a classic running bond concrete paver layout with a subtly weathered, industrial aesthetic. The surface exhibits a uniform grey tone with natural variations in texture and tone, simulating aged outdoor masonry. Each paver unit is defined by crisp, recessed joints that provide depth and realism when rendered. The material is designed for a two-metre by two-metre coverage, ensuring it tiles effectively without visible repetition across large exterior surfaces. It provides a robust, utilitarian look suitable for realistic ground planes, pathways, or public plaza visualisations.

The download is a 66.1 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

To implement this material, load the provided albedo, roughness, and displacement maps into your render engine's shader nodes. Use the normal maps—available in both DirectX and OpenGL formats—to achieve correct lighting interaction on the paver joints. The packed ARM map allows for efficient channel-based control over ambient occlusion and roughness. For optimal results, ensure the texture scale is set to match the two-metre real-world scan dimensions within your software's mapping settings.

These pavers are well-suited for exterior landscape design, including driveways, pedestrian walkways, and public patio areas. They pair effectively with modern residential architecture or urban infrastructure projects where a durable, hard-wearing surface is required. Professional visualisers will find this asset useful for site plans and eye-level exterior perspectives requiring high-fidelity ground materials. Search phrases like 'exterior paving texture', 'concrete paver material', or 'tileable running bond concrete' will help locate this asset when building out outdoor environment libraries.
