Contemporary Black Metal Frame Window Set

This SketchUp model provides a collection of nine contemporary window units featuring sleek black metal frames and clear glazing. The set comprises nine distinct window configurations, each defined by a robust, slim-profile black metal frame. These units showcase a variety of pane divisions, ranging from simple two-pane layouts to more complex multi-light arrangements with fixed and operable sections. The minimalist aesthetic is consistent across the collection, emphasising clean lines and geometric order. Each window is detailed with subtle handle hardware and thin mullions, suitable for modern residential or commercial facades. The clear glass infill allows for realistic light transmission, while the uniform frame depth ensures a cohesive look when used throughout a project.

The download is an 8.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these window units are organised as individual components, allowing for easy insertion into wall assemblies. Professionals can scale these frames to fit specific rough openings or use the native explode function to modify individual mullion positions. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the modelling process. Applying custom glass materials or adjusting the frame colour is straightforward, as the geometry is cleanly grouped for efficient texture mapping and material assignment.
