About this asset

This 2K clear sky field environment HDRI provides natural daylight illumination and realistic reflections for architectural rendering. The environment map captures a bright, midday scene featuring an open field bordered by a dense line of mature trees. The lighting profile is defined by a crisp, clear blue sky, casting soft, natural shadows and providing neutral ambient fill. The 360-degree spherical capture ensures consistent light distribution across all axes, essential for balanced exterior visualisation. The inclusion of reference chrome, matte white, and reflective blue spheres in the source data allows for precise verification of light intensity, colour temperature, and specular response within any standard physically-based rendering workflow.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To implement this HDRI, load the file into your renderer's environment or world lighting slot. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene's primary light source for accurate shadow casting. Because the map contains high-dynamic-range data, ensure your exposure settings are calibrated to capture the full range of brightness. Use the reflection data to define the environment's contribution to metallic or glass surfaces, ensuring seamless integration between the 3D geometry and the background.

This environment map is suited for exterior residential projects, garden designs, and landscape architecture visualisations where a bright, natural daylight aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with grass, timber, and stone materials, providing the necessary contrast for architectural details. Professionals looking for a realistic, neutral outdoor setting will find this asset useful for site-specific renderings, master planning presentations, and early-stage design studies. Its clear sky profile makes it a versatile choice for scenes requiring clean, bright, and evenly distributed daylighting.
