About this asset

Engineered for faceted building envelopes, this modern curtain wall Revit family features a triangular glazed grid with capless silicone joints. The system defines a continuous circular or faceted perimeter glazed drum, structured via an alternating diagonal framework that forms triangular glass lites. Featuring flush silicone butt joints without exterior cover caps, the design presents a sleek, structural glazing aesthetic that minimises exterior visual interruptions. Internal wireframe geometry reveals coordination detailing for floor junctions, a central circulation core, and curved interior partitions. Crisp profile definitions indicate support mullions aligned along the diagrid pattern, facilitating clean transitions across curved floor plates while maintaining a uniform geometrical rhythm across the glazed surface.

The download is a 195 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this RFA component directly into your Revit project environment to incorporate faceted facade geometry into architectural schemes. The component can be aligned to project grids and levels, coordinating neatly with slab edges and adjoining partition layouts. Material parameters can be adjusted across glass and metal subcategories within the family editor to coordinate with project rendering standards and schedule requirements.

Suited to contemporary commercial headquarters, cultural pavilions, airport concourses, and upscale hospitality atriums, this glazed enclosure resolves complex rotunda or curved envelope conditions. It pairs naturally with cast-in-place concrete slabs, suspended acoustic ceiling systems, and minimal interior balustrades. Designers frequently deploy this family when detailing diagrid facades, silicone glazed curtain walls, panoramic observation drums, and bespoke double-height entry foyers across concept design through to detailed technical documentation.
