About this asset

This modern double casement window Revit family provides a clean two-pane fenestration unit with crisp dark frames and glazed sashes. Featuring a balanced two-panel layout, the window assembly consists of equal-width glazed lites set within a 40mm profile framing system. The primary perimeter frame is rendered in deep black, paired with a subtle timber reveal surround for precise wall installation. One sash displays standard architectural opening swing indicator lines, highlighting operation clearance and handing direction. Clear insulated glazing units sit neatly within slim sightlines, offering generous daylighting with minimal structural intrusion. The geometry accurately models internal rebates, weather seals, and sash offsets typical of modern residential fenestration.

The download is a 1.2 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Engineered for native integration in Revit projects, this wall-hosted family automatically cuts host geometry upon placement. Insert the component into standard cavity, masonry, or framed wall types, adjusting sill height and head alignments directly from project elevations. Model graphics display clean linework across plan, section, and 3D views, while dedicated material subcategories allow quick overrides for exterior frame finishes, interior trims, and glass transparency.

Ideally suited for contemporary residential architecture, urban townhouses, and multi-family developments, this casement unit complements modern facades and interior living areas. Incorporate it into master bedrooms, private offices, or kitchen elevations requiring natural cross-ventilation. Specifiers frequently search for double casement fenestration, black framed glazing, modern sash windows, and residential wall openings when coordinating detailed exterior building envelope packages and scheduling window types across architectural construction documentation.
