About this asset

This contemporary armchair SketchUp model features a curved wooden frame with white fabric upholstery, ideal for refined interior spaces. This contemporary armchair showcases a clean, minimalist silhouette defined by a smooth, curved wooden frame that integrates the backrest and armrests into a single cohesive structure. The seat and the semi-circular backrest are upholstered in a crisp white fabric, providing a soft contrast to the warm natural wood grain of the frame. Its proportions are compact, making it suitable for both dining and lounge settings. The design emphasises fluid lines and high-quality joinery, offering a balanced aesthetic that bridges the gap between modern functionality and timeless, organic warmth in furniture design.

In SketchUp, this model is organised with clear geometry, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your scene. The materials are applied to distinct faces, enabling quick texture swapping or colour adjustments via the materials tray. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during complex scene development. Use the scale tool to adjust dimensions to fit specific floor plans, and apply native render settings to capture the light interaction on the fabric and wood surfaces.

This versatile armchair is well-suited for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive office meeting areas. It pairs effectively with minimalist dining tables, glass-topped side tables, or as a standalone accent piece in a quiet reading corner. Designers often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for projects requiring a blend of comfort and structural elegance. It is a reliable asset for visualising interior layouts where a sophisticated, neutral-toned chair is required to ground the space.
