Contemporary Timber Floating Staircase Scene

This contemporary floating staircase scene for SketchUp features an open-tread timber design set within a refined marble-clad interior. This architectural scene showcases a minimalist floating staircase constructed from light-toned timber. The design features open treads that appear to suspend from the ceiling via integrated vertical supports, creating a sense of weightlessness. The staircase is anchored by a dark, veined marble platform at the base, which transitions into a stone-tiled floor. Adjacent walls are finished with warm wood panelling on one side and textured light-grey surfaces on the other, incorporating recessed, backlit display niches. The composition is completed with sculptural decor elements and integrated perimeter lighting, providing a sophisticated, high-end residential aesthetic.

The download is a 443 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a complete SketchUp scene, this file is organised into logical layers, allowing users to isolate the staircase geometry from the surrounding walls, lighting, and decorative props. Professionals can easily adjust the scale or materials to fit specific floor-to-ceiling heights within their own projects. The model is ready for rendering; users should check that textures are mapped correctly after importing and consider applying high-quality material shaders to the marble and wood surfaces to achieve realistic light interaction.
