Engineered for sub-grade daylighting and code compliance, this basement egress window well Revit family features an integrated window unit and top grate. This sub-grade fenestration assembly integrates a double-pane egress window framed into a deep semicircular well enclosure. The upper aperture is fitted with an open horizontal security grate to permit ventilation and natural light while preventing accidental falls from ground level. A perimeter trim flange frames the window opening on the interior foundation side, while the exterior enclosure extends outward to hold back surrounding soil. Clean linear profiles define both the operable sash components and the structural retaining form, establishing a complete subterranean egress opening.

The download is a 205 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
