Contemporary Dark Green Velvet Armchair with Houndstooth Cushion

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a deep green velvet finish with subtle pleated detailing and a contrasting houndstooth cushion. This sophisticated armchair is defined by its deep green velvet upholstery, which features vertical pleating along the inner back and curved armrests. The chair sits on slender, tapered metal legs that provide a refined silhouette. A square decorative cushion upholstered in a classic black-and-white houndstooth pattern is included, offering a sharp visual contrast to the soft, saturated tones of the velvet frame. The proportions are compact yet comfortable, making it suitable as a versatile accent piece in various interior settings where a touch of texture and colour is required.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the velvet material is assigned to the primary geometry with appropriate reflection and bump maps to capture the fabric's soft sheen. The cushion is provided as a separate object, allowing for easy placement or removal depending on the desired composition. Use standard scene units and apply a simple subdivision modifier if closer camera angles are required to maintain smooth curves along the upholstered edges. The model is organised with logical layer naming for efficient asset management.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office waiting areas, this armchair serves as a striking focal point. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or as a pair flanking a fireplace. Professionals might search for this piece when looking for modern accent seating, luxury lounge furniture, or velvet-upholstered chairs for high-end interior visualisations. Its neutral metal base allows it to integrate seamlessly into both industrial and contemporary design schemes, providing a balanced aesthetic for various project stages.
