Contemporary Patterned Fabric Rug Set

This diverse collection of sixteen contemporary area rugs for SketchUp features varied geometric, floral, and abstract textile patterns. This collection comprises sixteen distinct rectangular area rugs, each rendered with a unique graphic pattern. The designs range from modern minimalist geometric grids and chevron motifs to organic floral silhouettes, tree-branch motifs, and stylized botanical shapes. The colour palette is intentionally neutral, relying on sophisticated combinations of grey, beige, white, and subtle off-white tones to ensure versatility. Each rug is presented as a flat, two-dimensional textile piece, suitable for layering beneath furniture in interior scenes. These assets provide a range of aesthetic options, from bold, high-contrast patterns to soft, textured-look surfaces that ground a space.

The download is a 15.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 16 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are best utilized as flat components placed on the floor plane. Professionals should import the desired rug file and scale it to match the specific dimensions of the room layout. Since these are standard textured surfaces, they can be easily modified by applying custom materials or adjusting the scale of the existing fabric textures within the material editor. Using them as components allows for quick swapping between different patterns to test various design iterations during the interior concept development phase.
