About this asset

This vintage office telephone Revit family features an angled desktop base with an integrated answering machine and detached corded handset. The unit comprises an angled tabletop console paired with a classic corded handset. Constructed with an off-white or beige plastic chassis, the base unit integrates a physical dial keypad, status control buttons, and a dedicated answering machine playback interface. The handset rests adjacent to the main housing via a coiled connection cord, articulated with an earpiece and mouthpiece receiver. With its wedge-profile casing and dual-tone detailing, the fixture captures the utilitarian aesthetic of traditional telecommunication hardware used across twentieth-century interior fit-outs and workplace settings.

The download is a 61 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Delivered as a native Revit specialty equipment family, this component can be loaded directly into architectural project templates. Users can position it on work surfaces such as desks, reception counters, or credenzas. Material subcategories allow quick overrides of the plastic housing tones in view templates, while standard elevation and plan cut representations provide clear linework on furniture plans without excessive polygon overhead.

Suited for period commercial projects, corporate office layouts, municipal facilities, and vintage home study interiors, this landline asset brings realism to workspace visualisations. It fits naturally into 1980s to early 2000s retro set dressings, staging administrative bullpens, reception desks, and private managerial suites. Modelers frequently deploy this office communications accessory when detailing executive workstations, clerical tables, and heritage workplace refurbishments.
