About this asset

This contemporary grey fabric sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a sleek, modular design with an integrated chaise and metal feet. Defined by clean lines and a low-profile silhouette, this sectional sofa offers a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The piece is upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, complemented by matching rectangular back cushions and a decorative throw blanket draped over one arm. Its modular construction includes a chaise extension on the right side, providing an elongated seating area. The entire assembly is elevated on slender, dark metal legs, which provide a subtle contrast to the soft upholstery. The proportions are generous, emphasizing comfort and minimalist form without sacrificing structural integrity.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the geometry is scaled correctly for your scene units before applying materials. The fabric and metal components are typically separated by material ID or object grouping, allowing for quick adjustments to textures or colours. Use a standard light setup to highlight the fabric's soft highlights and shadows, and consider applying a subdivision modifier if close-up rendering is required to maintain the smoothness of the cushions and frame edges.

This sectional sofa is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or upscale hotel lounge areas. Its neutral grey palette makes it highly adaptable to various decor schemes, from minimalist to industrial-inspired spaces. Designers often pair this piece with low-profile coffee tables, textured area rugs, or floor lamps to create a cohesive seating arrangement. Professionals searching for comfortable, contemporary living room furniture will find this model ideal for high-quality architectural visualisations requiring a sophisticated, inviting focal point.
