About this asset

Vintage beige CRT computer monitor Revit family with an authentic deep chassis, framed display bezel, and low-profile pedestal base. Modelled after classic cathode-ray tube displays, this desktop computer screen features a deep, boxy enclosure typical of late twentieth-century computing hardware. The front assembly incorporates a recessed dark screen surrounded by a thick, angled bezel with lower panel detailing. The entire housing rests upon a compact, slightly recessed square pedestal foot that establishes proper desk clearance. The outer casing displays a neutral beige finish contrasted by the dark monitor face, capturing the volumetric footprint and utilitarian aesthetic of legacy electronic equipment for interior scenes.

The download is a 51 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

This lightweight Revit family inserts directly into floor plan or desk-level working views, aligning neatly to workstation table tops. With minimal geometry and an exceptionally small file footprint, it populates large computer labs, period trading floors, or retro office layouts without degrading model performance. Graphic overrides allow project teams to modify screen and casing materials for rendered presentations.

Suited for historical reconstructions, period-piece set dressing, educational computer labs, archive facilities, and vintage workplace interiors, this monitor complements retro desks, steel office credenzas, and classic task seating. Specifiers, archivists, and visualisers searching for vintage desktop equipment, nineties computer monitor families, or CRT television displays will find this component provides authentic era-specific massing and clean documentation visibility.
