About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a set of two cylindrical stools crafted from natural rattan cane webbing and dark wood. These cylindrical stools feature a minimalist, tubular form defined by a structural frame of dark-stained wood. The body is wrapped in a high-quality rattan cane webbing, providing a textured, organic aesthetic that contrasts with the solid wood top and base caps. The design is simple and architectural, focusing on the interplay between the vertical grain of the wood and the geometric grid of the woven rattan. This set includes two units of varying heights, making them versatile for use as accent seating, small side tables, or decorative pedestals within a refined interior space.

The download is a 3.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these stools are organised as distinct components, allowing for easy placement and scaling within a scene. Users should ensure the model is placed on the floor plane using the move tool and check that the material mapping for the rattan texture is correctly scaled for the desired level of detail. The geometry is clean and lightweight, making it suitable for populating larger residential or commercial interior visualisations without significantly impacting file performance or rendering times.

The stools are ideal for residential living areas, bedrooms, or boutique hospitality projects where a touch of natural texture is required. They pair effectively with mid-century or contemporary furniture, serving as functional accent pieces or sculptural elements in a corner. Professionals might search for these as cane stools, organic accent furniture, or cylindrical side tables. Their neutral palette and simple silhouette allow them to integrate seamlessly into various design schemes, from Scandinavian-inspired rooms to modern, nature-focused interiors, providing both utility and visual interest.
