About this asset

Modern white aluminium louvre sun screen Revit family configured as sliding shading panels for exterior balconies and facade openings. Engineered for architectural solar control, this facade shading element features modular sliding panels with evenly spaced horizontal louvre blades set within a slim perimeter frame. Finished in a crisp light powder coat, the louvres provide effective shading and privacy while maintaining natural airflow and diffuse daylight penetration across deep balconies. The assembly aligns cleanly with floor slab edges and glazed balustrades, offering a contemporary geometric rhythm across multi-storey residential facades. Clean rectangular profiles and modular dimensions facilitate repeating facade configurations along exterior corridors, private terraces, and floor-to-ceiling glazing runs.

The download is a 492 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load the RFA component directly into your Revit project environment to detail facade elevations and technical section cuts. The family aligns with floor edges or wall openings to coordinate clearances alongside external sliding doors and railings. Material parameters allow easy remapping of frame and louver finishes from white powder coat to dark bronze or anodised aluminium to match project specifications and rendering standards.

Tailored for multi-residential towers, urban apartment blocks, boutique hotels, and coastal villas, this architectural louvre system enhances both passive solar performance and facade texture. Use this sun shading panel when coordinating balcony privacy screens, exterior brise-soleil layouts, or shading packages during design development and documentation. It integrates naturally with contemporary aluminium curtain walls, sliding patio glazing, and glass balustrades in residential and mixed-use commercial developments.
