About this asset

Day Environment HDRI 075 is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map, providing clear daylight illumination for architectural rendering. This 2K resolution HDRI environment map features a realistic urban plaza setting, characterized by light-coloured stone architecture and cobblestone paving. The lighting conditions represent a clear day with neutral, balanced daylight, ensuring consistent highlights and shadows across rendered objects. It includes a set of reference spheres—chrome, matte white, and blue—to assist with material calibration and lighting verification. The composition provides a wide-angle, immersive perspective suitable for exterior visualisations, offering sharp, naturalistic reflections of the surrounding building facades and the open sky above the paved ground plane.

The download is a 9.2 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this file directly into the environment or background slot of your preferred 3D rendering engine. As a high-dynamic-range image, it serves as the primary light source for the scene, eliminating the need for additional sun lamps or complex lighting rigs. Adjust the rotation to align the brightest area with your desired sun position, and scale the background intensity to match the exposure settings of your camera for physically accurate lighting and reflection results.

This environment map is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly those featuring contemporary or neoclassical urban developments. It provides a clean, neutral backdrop for testing materials, facades, and street-level assets in residential or commercial projects. Professionals can use this in early design stages to quickly establish lighting moods or in final production to ensure realistic reflections on glass, metal, and stone surfaces. The clear daylight quality makes it a versatile asset for any scene requiring a bright, realistic urban context.
