About this asset

Retail island chest freezer Revit family featuring a low-profile open-top basin with perimeter protective bumper rails for commercial store layouts. Designed as an elongated rectangular island fixture, the unit features an open horizontal well intended for self-service frozen merchandise. A continuous extruded bumper guard wraps around the mid-lower perimeter to protect the casework against shopping cart impacts. The upper rim is defined by a framed top ledge enclosing the deep central refrigeration basin, while the recessed base kickplate provides stable floor clearance. The clean prismatic form offers minimal exterior detailing, maintaining a lightweight volumetric footprint that clearly defines cold-storage circulation zones without overwhelming technical equipment schedules.

The download is a 82 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Loading this RFA file directly into Revit allows quick insertion onto floor plans within specialty equipment or retail fixture categories. Designers can align units in back-to-back island runs or end-cap configurations. Visibility graphics and coarse detail levels provide clean schematics for equipment plans, while shared parameters facilitate tagging, MEP coordination, and refrigeration schedules across schematic design and fit-out documentation stages.

Well suited for grocery stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, and wholesale hypermarket fit-outs, this equipment block establishes customer circulation aisles and merchandising layouts. It coordinates effectively alongside multideck dairy cases, produce bins, endcap gondola shelving, and checkout counters during space planning. Architects and retail planners frequently search for supermarket island freezer, commercial horizontal display case, and retail cold food merchandiser families when detailing grocery store equipment specifications.
