About this asset

Rendered in distinctive yellow timber, this sharpened pencil Revit family brings realistic desk-level detailing to educational and office interior views. The model depicts a traditional graphite writing pencil featuring a faceted hexagonal barrel finished in vibrant yellow. At the writing end, a tapered conical cut reveals the pale natural wood grain leading to a sharp, dark graphite core point. The opposite end terminates in a patterned ferrule banded in green and yellow accents, which holds a cylindrical pink rubber eraser firmly in place. Clean geometric facets define each edge of the hexagonal profile, creating authentic specular highlights without unnecessary polygonal density across small desktop arrangements.

The download is a 410 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit component, this small-scale asset inserts cleanly into project desk layouts, reception counters, or workstation scenes. Users can position it flat on horizontal work surfaces or array it inside desktop organizers and pencil cups. Material parameters allow easy tone adjustments across the painted barrel, ferrule, and eraser in the Family Editor or project material browser.

Suitable for close-up vignette views in commercial workplace environments, higher education facilities, art studios, and school classrooms, this prop enhances visual storytelling on workstations, library study carrels, and drafting tables.
