About this asset

This Revit family provides a standard horseshoe pit sports court, featuring a rectangular sand area with dual vertical metal stakes. The model represents a traditional horseshoe pitching court, defined by a linear rectangular footprint. It includes the primary sand-filled playing area and the two essential vertical stakes positioned at each end, typically backed by a low barrier or backboard. The geometry is clean and low-poly, suitable for site planning and landscape masterplans. It provides a clear visual representation of the court's footprint, allowing for accurate site zoning and spatial allocation within a larger recreational park or residential backyard scheme. The design is functional and adheres to standard layouts for this specific lawn game.

The download is a 164 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is best utilized as a site-based component. Once loaded into your project environment, place the family directly onto your site topography or floor element. It is recommended to use the alignment tools to ensure the stakes are oriented correctly along the primary axis of the court. You can adjust the material parameters to represent the sand infill or the surrounding ground surface as required for your specific site plan documentation and schedule extraction.
