About this asset

This SketchUp model set features two distinct indoor plants, including a tall topiary tree and a smaller shrub in decorative pots. This set contains two potted plants suitable for interior styling. The first is a tall topiary tree with a rounded crown, housed in a sleek, black square planter filled with white decorative pebbles. The second is a smaller, bushy shrub with dense green foliage, set in a simple, tapered light-beige pot. The contrast between the formal, geometric structure of the topiary and the organic, rounded form of the smaller plant provides a balanced aesthetic. Both models feature realistic leaf textures and defined stems, making them versatile assets for various interior design schemes.

The download is a 22.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these plants are best managed as separate components to maintain scene performance. Users can easily scale the individual objects to fit specific spatial requirements or adjust the material mapping on the planters to match project-specific finishes. When populating a room, consider placing these on a separate layer or tag to toggle visibility during the modelling phase. For final visualisations, applying high-resolution texture maps to the foliage will enhance the realism of the light interaction on the leaves.

These plants are ideal for adding life to modern residential interiors, corporate office lobbies, or hotel reception areas. They work well when placed in corners, alongside lounge seating, or on console tables to break up rigid architectural lines. Professionals often use such assets in the final stages of a project to enhance the realism of interior renders. Search for these by terms like indoor foliage, decorative planters, or potted greenery to find similar assets for staging your next architectural visualisation project.
