About this asset

This traditional black metal floor lamp is a Revit family featuring a classic adjustable banker-style head for task lighting. This floor lamp features a slender, vertical stem mounted on a circular, weighted base, finished in a matte black coating. The standout element is the iconic adjustable banker-style shade, finished in a contrasting metallic gold, which directs light downwards for focused illumination. The proportions are balanced for use beside an armchair or at the end of a desk. The design relies on clean, industrial-inspired lines, making it a versatile addition to both period-style interiors and modern spaces requiring a touch of classic character. All components are clearly defined for accurate visual representation.

The download is a 61 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this RFA file directly into your project environment as a lighting fixture. Once placed, use the standard Revit instance parameters to adjust its position and rotation within your interior views. The family is built to support light source definitions, allowing you to assign IES profiles or adjust lumen output and colour temperature directly through the properties palette to achieve realistic render results in your interior scenes. Ensure it is hosted on a floor level for correct placement within your BIM model.

Ideal for residential reading nooks, home offices, or private library settings, this floor lamp provides essential task lighting. It pairs well with leather armchairs, wooden side tables, or traditional executive desks. Architects and interior designers often specify this type of fixture when seeking to introduce a timeless, functional aesthetic that bridges the gap between classic design and modern utility.
