About this asset

This minimalist black metal floor lamp is a Revit family featuring an arched neck and a dome shade for directed task lighting. Designed with a clean, minimalist aesthetic, this floor lamp features a slender vertical stem that curves into a graceful arch. The lamp is finished in a matte black, highlighting its simple, functional form. A compact dome-shaped shade sits at the end of the arch, providing focused downward illumination. The base is a weighted circular disc, ensuring stability while maintaining a low profile. The construction is entirely metallic, offering a durable and sleek appearance suitable for contemporary interiors where clean lines and understated lighting solutions are required for both residential and commercial spaces.

The download is a 61 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this luminaire is designed for quick placement within project files. Users can load the RFA into a lighting plan or interior view, using the standard host-based placement tools. The model includes light source definitions, allowing for accurate integration with Revit's internal rendering engine. Adjustments to the light intensity and colour temperature can be made via the family type parameters, while the geometry is optimised to maintain file performance within larger model environments.

This floor lamp is ideal for creating focused task lighting in reading nooks, home offices, or bedside zones. It complements modern and minimalist interior design schemes, pairing well with lounge chairs or contemporary desks. In hospitality projects, it serves as an effective accent piece for hotel guest rooms or quiet lobby areas. Professionals looking for a versatile, unobtrusive light source will find this asset useful for enhancing the atmosphere of living rooms, study areas, and residential bedrooms throughout the design development stage.
