About this asset

Day Environment HDRI 086 is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map providing clear daylight illumination for outdoor architectural scenes. This 360-degree environment map captures a bright, sunny afternoon in a riverside park setting. The image features a clear sky with high-contrast, directional natural light, making it suitable for realistic exterior rendering. The environment includes mature trees, paved walkways, and a waterfront backdrop, providing a naturalistic setting for object placement. The spherical projection ensures consistent lighting and reflections across all angles of a 3D scene, eliminating the need for complex multi-light setups. It is balanced for accurate colour rendition and shadow depth, maintaining the integrity of the original captured lighting conditions.

The download is a 9.5 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Professionals can load this 2K HDRI file directly into the environment or background slot of any standard 3D rendering engine. The map acts as the primary light source, providing both diffuse illumination and sharp, clear reflections on metallic or glossy surfaces. Users should adjust the exposure intensity within their render settings to match the desired daylight brightness, ensuring the shadow direction aligns with the position of the sun as captured in the panoramic image for a cohesive scene.

Ideal for architectural visualisations, this environment map is well-suited for exterior design projects, landscape architecture, and urban planning presentations. It provides a natural, bright atmosphere for residential or public space developments located near water. Designers often pair this map with outdoor furniture, street lighting, or building massing models to achieve realistic lighting interactions. Search for this asset when requiring a clean, sunny, and versatile environment for daylight studies or high-quality final renderings in projects requiring a park or riverside context.
