About this asset

Featuring stepped timber slats with integrated cyan illumination, this modern reception desk Revit family anchors commercial reception areas and hotel lobbies. The fixture exhibits a prominent rectilinear geometry constructed from layered horizontal wood-finish blocks that step outward dynamically. Alternating between solid timber sections are narrow recessed bands emitting a luminous blue-green light, creating high-contrast horizontal accent lines across the front facade. A solid raised counter extends across the working zone, concealing task surfaces and equipment from incoming visitors while maintaining clean sightlines. The warm medium-brown grain texture balances the cool glow of the accent lighting, forming a substantial architectural counter suited for corporate front-of-house spaces.

The download is a 256 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, load the family directly into floor plan views and place it against an entrance boundary or feature wall. Align the unit with finish floor levels and coordinate clearances for operator movement and task seating behind the counter. Material parameters can be adjusted in the family editor to coordinate the wood veneer and luminous shader values with project-specific interior finishes and rendering engines.

Well suited for corporate office fit-outs, boutique hotels, medical practices, and contemporary showroom lobbies, this counter serves as an immediate visual anchor at main arrival points. It pairs naturally with modern task chairs, architectural ceiling baffles, and polished stone or large-format porcelain tile flooring. Specifiers frequently search for slatted timber desks, illuminated reception counters, corporate front desks, and hospitality check-in stations when detailing entrance schemes across schematic and design development phases.
