About this asset

This set of two Japanese bonsai trees on tall wooden stands is a detailed SketchUp model featuring realistic foliage and textures. This set includes two distinct bonsai compositions, each elevated on slender, minimalist wooden display stands. The left tree features a dense, upright canopy in a dark ceramic pot, while the right tree displays a graceful, windswept form with delicate foliage and a stone accent within a shallow, wide-brimmed grey basin. Both models exhibit intricate trunk detailing and layered, naturalistic leaf clusters. The stands are constructed with clean, rectilinear lines, providing a light, airy base that contrasts with the organic complexity of the trees above, making them suitable for high-end interior visualizations.

The download is a 72.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Import this set into your SketchUp project as a component to maintain file efficiency. The geometry is grouped by element, allowing you to easily toggle the trees or stands independently. Apply high-resolution textures to the bark and foliage to enhance realism during rendering. When positioning, use the base of the wooden stands as your primary snap point to ensure perfect alignment with floor surfaces. Consider using a proxy workflow for the complex foliage to keep your viewport navigation smooth and responsive.
