Modern Timber and Concrete Rhomba Bench

Rendered for residential and landscape designs, this modern outdoor bench Revit family features a solid timber plank seat set between concrete pedestals. The Rhomba bench features a minimal, rectilinear form defined by two substantial concrete block pedestals supporting a thick horizontal timber plank. Clean geometry and substantial massing give it an architectural quality suited to built-in or freestanding exterior conditions. The wooden seat spans directly between the masonry supports, rebated cleanly into the inside corners of the concrete blocks to create a flush, unified seating plane. Its contrasting finishes—smooth poured concrete paired with rich medium-brown stained timber—deliver a clean balance between rugged civic permanence and tactile residential warmth.

The download is a 543 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit furniture component, this RFA element loads cleanly into project templates, linking directly with floor levels, porches, or external site hardscaping. Material definitions for the timber seat and masonry plinths allow custom surface mapping or integration with office material libraries. The backless profile facilitates quick orientation and snapping against exterior siding, retaining walls, or open courtyard slabs in both 3D perspective views and 2D documentation layouts.

Well-suited for front verandas, covered entryways, suburban residential porches, and public terrace schemes, this bench integrates effortlessly into outdoor landscaping scenes. Specifiers often place it alongside exterior masonry cladding, entry doors, garden pathways, and patio dining arrangements. It serves as an effective element when detailing residential site models, civic streetscapes, or commercial courtyards where practitioners search for concrete wood benches, low porch seating, minimal outdoor benches, or backless garden seat families.
