Contemporary Red Velvet and Glass Dining Set

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a glass-top table paired with six velvet-upholstered chairs in red and grey tones. This dining set comprises a large rectangular dining table with a clear glass top supported by a substantial, wood-veneered base. Accompanying the table are six low-back dining chairs featuring metal frames and deep-cushioned seats. The upholstery is finished in a rich red velvet for four chairs and a muted grey velvet for the two central seats. The combination of the transparent glass surface and the bold, tactile fabric creates a balanced aesthetic suitable for high-end interiors. Small decorative elements, including a glass vase with peach-coloured flowers and stacked books, are included to provide scale.

The download is a 79.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the table and individual chair components. Users should ensure that the glass material attributes are correctly configured for their chosen render engine to achieve accurate reflections and refraction. The chairs are instanced to keep the scene file size manageable, allowing for quick adjustments to the seating arrangement or material overrides for different design iterations. Proper placement on the floor plane is required to ensure correct contact points for the chair legs.
