About this asset

Modern minimalist wall shelf Revit family modeled after the IKEA Besta Burs storage unit with clean rectangular lines and drop-down doors. Characterized by an elongated horizontal profile, this wall-hung cabinet features a streamlined rectangular enclosure with a front drop-down flap door. The unit provides concealed storage with a shallow depth suitable for media components, books, or office accessories. The rendered display presents multiple colour and operational states, including glossy white, vivid red, and dark grey finishes, with flaps depicted closed, partially open, and fully lowered. Crisp edges and a handle-free facade maintain an unobtrusive, contemporary profile suitable for minimal clutter across interior elevations.

The download is a 348 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this Revit family directly into project templates or active interior models. As a wall-hosted component, it can be aligned along vertical partitions at custom datum heights to create bespoke modular arrangements. Standard family parameters facilitate assignment of project-specific finish materials to the carcass and front panel, ensuring consistent representation in both documentation elevations and rendered perspective views.

Ideal for residential apartments, student housing, home offices, and boutique commercial breakout spaces, this floating shelf works effectively in living rooms, study nooks, and bedrooms. Position it above a desk or beneath a wall-hung screen alongside contemporary credenzas and accent chairs. Interior designers and BIM coordinators commonly specify this asset when designing modular media walls, compact study alcoves, and minimal horizontal wall storage solutions.
