About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a traditional oriental altar cabinet set in dark wood, complete with a matching lower storage unit. The set comprises a tall, slender console-style altar table and a compact, rectangular storage cabinet designed to fit beneath it. Both pieces are finished in a dark, stained wood with visible grain texture. The altar table features a stepped-up edge detail at the rear, two small drawers with circular pulls, and a clean, minimalist silhouette. The lower cabinet features double doors accented with a geometric, metallic-toned lattice pattern. This composition provides a balanced, symmetrical aesthetic typical of formal spiritual furniture, suitable for dedicated meditation spaces or quiet corners in a residence.

The download is a 35.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the align tool to position the lower cabinet centrally beneath the altar table if it is currently displaced. Ensure the pivot points are set to the base of each object for easy placement on floor geometry. Apply high-quality wood grain shaders and adjust the reflection parameters to match the surrounding lighting environment. The model is organised by logical naming conventions, allowing for quick selection and material assignment for the hardware details.
