About this asset

This Japandi-style dining set for SketchUp features a light natural wood rectangular table and four matching rattan-back armchairs. This dining set comprises a clean-lined, rectangular dining table paired with four armchairs, all finished in a light natural wood tone. The chairs feature a distinct cane or rattan weave on the backrests and seats, offering a subtle textural contrast to the smooth timber frames. The overall aesthetic is light and organic, defined by soft curves and minimalist joinery. A small decorative vase with dried foliage is included at the centre of the table. The entire assembly is presented atop a round, textured jute-style rug, creating a cohesive, ready-to-use dining arrangement.

The download is an 8.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model functions as a single component group, allowing for easy placement and orientation within your floor plan. The textures are mapped to standard geometry; users can adjust the wood grain scale or replace the rattan material via the material browser if a different finish is required. The chairs and table are grouped separately, enabling individual positioning or swapping of seating arrangements. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility when rendering or generating construction documentation.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen areas, or boutique cafe interiors, this set brings a calm, organic feel to contemporary projects. It works particularly well in spaces prioritising light palettes and natural materials. Designers looking for a soft, minimalist aesthetic will find this model suitable for early-stage concept visualisations or final rendered scenes. It pairs effectively with neutral wall finishes and indoor greenery, making it a versatile choice for styling modern apartments, holiday homes, or relaxed hospitality environments.
