About this asset

This mid-century swivel lounge chair Revit family brings a timber-framed command seat with integrated armrest caddies into Revit interior scenes. Constructed with a bold, block-form timber shell, the armchair features an angular reclined backrest and deep seat cushion upholstered in smooth brown matte fabric. Wide wooden arm flanks incorporate recessed control trays on both sides, topped with angled solid wood arm rests in a contrasting darker walnut finish. The geometric outer housing rests atop a low concealed circular pedestal base that provides a floating profile. Sharp planar geometry defines the silhouette, making it an architectural statement piece with distinct mid-century science fiction styling.

The download is a 952 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load the standalone RFA component directly into your Revit project and place it hosted on any finished floor level. Instance parameters allow easy orientation and rotation in floor plans or camera views. Material finish parameters can be assigned in the family type properties to customize timber grain maps and upholstery shaders for native Revit viewport presentations or third-party rendering engines like Enscape.

Suited to residential media rooms, executive home offices, themed entertainment suites, and boutique creative agency lounges. Specifiers searching for retro-futuristic club chairs, timber accent seating, or bespoke statement lounge chairs will find this model ideal for schematic concept presentations and photorealistic client visualisations. Pair this armchair alongside low-profile credenzas, modular sectionals, and warm architectural downlighting to anchor distinctive lounge spaces in modern living environments.
