About this asset

A mid-century tufted leather ottoman Revit family features curved chrome-plated scissor legs and a square cushion with geometric surface seams. The model reproduces the iconic cross-frame footstool profile with a square, button-tufted seat cushion set over an interlocking curved metal base. A grid of faceted tufts articulates the upper dark leather surface, finished with straight box-edge borders. Below, two pairs of slender curved legs cross in an elegant X-configuration, terminating in flat glides that rest directly on the floor level. The reflective polished metal chassis contrasts against the matte upholstery, providing clean planar geometry and authentic mid-century proportions suitable for architectural visualization and detailed interior drawings.

The download is a 276 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this standard RFA component directly into your Revit project template or active model workspace. Place the family as a standalone floor-hosted element in 3D views, interior elevations, or plans. Material parameters allow quick assignment of Revit asset materials to the upholstery and chrome framework, ensuring coordinated graphic displays in shaded, consistent colors, or ray-traced rendering modes, as well as crisp linework representation in construction documentation.

Suited for residential living rooms, executive boardrooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and modernist gallery lounges, this piece functions as a versatile accent bench or footrest. Architects and interior designers frequently specify it alongside matching lounge chairs, low marble coffee tables, and contemporary credenzas in schematic designs and FF&E presentation packages. The timeless silhouette delivers immediate design credibility to modern office receptions, reading nooks, and luxury master bedroom suites without inflating file size or viewport overhead.
