About this asset

This bohemian-style rectangular area rug for SketchUp features a textured blue and cream woven fabric pattern with decorative end tassels. This woven area rug presents a casual, bohemian aesthetic defined by its high-contrast, linear pattern in shades of deep blue and off-white cream. The construction mimics a heavy-duty textile weave, providing a tactile, grounded appearance suitable for various interior settings. The short edges are finished with integrated, matching beige fringe tassels, which add a soft, organic detail to the otherwise structured rectangular form. Its proportions are versatile, designed to anchor living areas or bedrooms. The material appearance suggests a durable, natural fibre weave that works well in both minimalist and eclectic design schemes.

The download is a 156 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this rug into a SketchUp scene, import the component and place it directly onto the floor plane using the move tool. Ensure the axis is aligned with your room layout. Because the rug is a flat geometry, it is best placed slightly above the floor surface to avoid z-fighting during rendering. Apply a soft shadow setting to enhance the depth of the woven texture, and use the scale tool if the dimensions need adjustment to fit specific floor plans.

This piece is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly in living rooms, bedrooms, or reading nooks where a relaxed, layered look is desired. It pairs effectively with natural timber furniture, linen upholstery, and neutral wall palettes to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Professionals often search for this type of asset when styling casual, transitional, or boho-chic spaces. It serves as a foundational element that adds visual interest and comfort to hard-surface flooring such as light oak, polished concrete, or ceramic tile.
