The download is a 492 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is best utilised by loading it into the project environment and placing it within the floor plan of a lobby or reception area. Users can adjust the desk orientation to suit the room layout and apply custom material parameters to the wood and glass surfaces to match the interior design scheme. It functions as a standard furniture family, allowing for easy alignment with walls and integration into schedules for procurement and project documentation.

This reception desk is ideal for commercial office lobbies, medical clinics, boutique retail showrooms, or hotel front desks where a welcoming and professional first impression is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist seating, indoor plants, and integrated wall lighting to create a cohesive entry sequence. Professionals searching for a versatile transaction counter will find this model suitable for early-stage design concepts or final construction documentation, ensuring a clean, organised, and functional workspace for staff members in high-traffic public areas.
