About this asset

This contemporary indoor plant set for SketchUp features two distinct potted shrubs with detailed foliage and textured planters. This set consists of two distinct indoor plants, each exhibiting a unique form and structure. The first plant features slender, twisting branches topped with dense, pointed leaves, set within a dark grey, textured cylindrical pot supported by a light wood stand. The second plant displays a more delicate, fern-like structure with finely divided, feathery fronds, housed in a smooth, tapered white ceramic planter. Both models include realistic soil and moss textures at the base, providing a high level of detail for close-up interior visualisations and architectural renderings.

The download is a 86.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models function as individual components, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your scene. The geometry is optimized for efficient viewport navigation, while the materials are mapped to accommodate standard rendering workflows. You can scale these objects to suit various interior heights or integrate them into larger plant groupings by nesting them within your project's layers. Ensure that the texture paths are correctly linked upon import to maintain the integrity of the leaf and planter surfaces during final rendering.

These plants are essential for adding life to interior spaces, including residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office break-out areas. They pair well with minimalist furniture or industrial-style decor, providing a soft, organic contrast to hard surfaces like concrete or steel. Professionals often use these assets in the final stages of a project to populate corners, shelves, or reception desks, creating a more inviting and lived-in atmosphere for client presentations and high-quality marketing imagery.
