About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max modular sofa features grey fabric upholstery, a walnut-finish integrated side table, and a slim metal base. This modular sofa presents a clean, low-profile aesthetic defined by its vertical channel-tufted upholstery in a soft grey fabric. The configuration integrates a flat, wood-finished side table seamlessly into the seating run, providing a functional surface for books or small decor. The entire structure is elevated on a slender, minimalist metal frame that provides a light visual footprint. Included are two square brown accent cushions and a draped throw blanket, which introduce texture and contrast to the monochromatic base. The proportions are wide and linear, suitable for open-plan living spaces or lounge areas.

The download is a 19.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this model is best handled as a single component block. Users should ensure the pivot point is aligned at the floor level for easy placement within a scene. The fabric and wood materials are mapped for quick adjustments to texture tiling or colour tinting. It is recommended to use the provided geometry as a base, applying a turbosmooth modifier sparingly if close-up rendering is required, while keeping the scene file organised by separating the cushions and throw onto distinct layers.

Ideal for modern residential living rooms, high-end hotel lobbies, or executive breakout spaces, this sofa serves as a primary seating element in contemporary interiors. It pairs effectively with low-slung coffee tables, minimalist area rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Professionals searching for modular seating solutions, linear sofas with integrated surfaces, or channel-tufted lounge furniture will find this asset versatile for various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final high-fidelity architectural renders. It works well within both neutral palettes and more vibrant, layered interior schemes.
