About this asset

This SketchUp model features a potted Dracaena Marginata indoor plant with three distinct stems of varying heights and spiky foliage. The plant is presented in a simple, matte black cylindrical pot with a rounded base. The foliage consists of three stems, each topped with a cluster of long, slender, dark green leaves radiating from the central stalks. The stems exhibit a textured, woody appearance, characteristic of the Dracaena genus. The proportions are balanced, with the tallest stem positioned prominently, and the two shorter stems providing a tiered, naturalistic look. This model is ideal for adding greenery to interior spaces without requiring complex geometry, focusing on a clean, realistic representation of the plant's form.

The download is a 15.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this plant into a SketchUp project, import the component and place it using the move tool to align with floor or surface planes. Because this model relies on geometry for its foliage, ensure your layer management is organized to toggle visibility during heavy modeling phases. Use the scale tool if you need to adjust the height for specific interior clearance, and apply high-quality textures to the leaves if rendering with external plugins to enhance realism.

This asset is well-suited for populating residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or hotel reception areas where a touch of nature is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or industrial-style interiors, acting as a soft visual counterpoint. Professionals often search for this type of asset when staging architectural visualizations to add life and scale to empty corners or near windows. It is a versatile choice for any project phase, from early concept development to final high-end render presentation.
