Contemporary Rectangular Glass Coffee Table with Black Metal Base

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a clear rectangular glass top supported by a lightweight, black metal geometric frame. The table comprises a slim, tempered glass surface resting upon a sophisticated, angular base constructed from fine black metal rods. The base structure employs a series of intersecting triangles, creating a visually light yet structurally sound foundation that elevates the glass top. The clean lines and transparent materiality lend the piece a minimalist aesthetic, suitable for modern interiors where visual weight must be minimised. This model includes a selection of decorative items such as books and a glass carafe, which demonstrate the scale and proportions of the surface area effectively.

The download is a 78.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the glass material is correctly assigned with appropriate refraction and reflection parameters to maintain transparency. The file provides a clean geometry, allowing for easy placement within a living area or lounge. Users should verify the scale against the interior floor plan before final placement. Adjusting the lighting setup, particularly the use of HDRI maps, will enhance the reflective qualities of the glass surface and the depth of the dark metal frame.

This coffee table is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary executive office reception areas. It pairs well with low-profile modular sofas and minimalist lounge chairs, providing a functional surface without obscuring the floor plane. Professionals searching for a sleek, transparent centrepiece for a modern interior project will find this asset versatile. It is frequently sourced for residential staging, hospitality design, and commercial showroom layouts where a sophisticated, unobtrusive aesthetic is required to maintain an open and airy spatial flow.
