About this asset

This modern vertical planter set for SketchUp features a concrete base, timber trellis, and assorted indoor plants for interiors. The set consists of a substantial, rounded-corner concrete planter box supporting a vertical timber slatted trellis. This structure serves as a frame for various potted plants, including a palm-like centerpiece, orchids, and smaller succulents arranged on integrated wooden shelving. Completing the composition is a separate, trailing plant housed in a hanging basket. The design balances the raw, industrial texture of the concrete base with the natural warmth of the timber, creating a cohesive piece suitable for partitioning or accentuating interior spaces with layered foliage and organic forms.

The download is a 27.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can import this SketchUp model directly into their scene as a single component. The file is structured to allow for easy repositioning within larger interior layouts. Users should check the component nesting to adjust material mapping or swap out individual plant species if necessary to match specific project requirements. The model is scaled for immediate placement in architectural visualisations and can be rendered using standard SketchUp-compatible plugins, ensuring the textures and geometry maintain clarity across various viewing angles.

This vertical planter is ideal for defining zones in open-plan offices, residential living areas, or hotel lobbies where a touch of nature is required. It works well as a room divider or a standalone feature against a blank wall. Architects and interior designers often search for such green-wall solutions to improve biophilic design scores in commercial or high-end residential projects. Pair this with minimalist furniture to allow the organic shapes of the plants to become the primary focal point of the room.
