About this asset

Industrial black metal drum chandelier 3ds Max model featuring an open criss-cross wire shade inset with clear glass spheres and a central multi-bulb hub. Constructed around a wide drum silhouette, this ceiling luminaire combines an open lattice metal frame with embedded spherical glass drops. The outer rim is formed from criss-crossing dark iron wirework, housing clear decorative glass elements at each diamond intersection. In the interior, a central suspension rod anchors a circular hub from which radial spokes extend outward, each terminating in a candelabra-style bulb socket. A linked dark metal chain, threaded rod, and flared ceiling rose complete the overhead suspension assembly, producing a balanced industrial aesthetic.

The download is an 11.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for architectural visualisation pipelines, this 3ds Max asset imports cleanly into residential or hospitality interiors. The suspension chain and ceiling canopy can be adjusted vertically to match variable ceiling heights. Separate material IDs for the dark metal cage, translucent glass beads, and light-emitting bulb elements allow artists to easily configure photometric point lights or render-engine light sources within the sockets for accurate shadow casting.

This drum cage chandelier works effectively as a statement fixture over dining tables, kitchen islands, and double-height entrance foyers. Its fusion of vintage industrial ironwork and delicate glass refraction complements modern farmhouse, urban loft, and transitional interior schemes. Designers regularly specify this wire drum pendant light when detailing boutique restaurants, hotel reception lounges, or open-plan living rooms seeking overhead warmth, ambient illumination, and sculptural interest across schematic design and high-resolution marketing renderings.
