About this asset

This tropical-style ceiling fan SketchUp model features five distinctive palm-leaf-inspired blades and a gold-finish metal housing. Designed with a clear tropical aesthetic, this ceiling fan features five wide, oval-shaped blades finished in a rich, textured wood grain. These blades are attached to a central cylindrical motor housing finished in a matte gold tone. The assembly includes a slender downrod and a decorative, fluted canopy cover at the ceiling connection point. The overall proportions suggest a decorative focus, offering a warm, organic contrast to the metallic structure. It serves as a statement piece in spaces requiring a relaxed, resort-inspired atmosphere, combining functional cooling elements with high-end, decorative material finishes.

The download is a 6.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured for easy integration into ceiling plans. The fan is grouped as a single entity, allowing for simple rotation or scaling to fit specific room heights. Users should ensure the model is placed on the correct layer for visibility control and that the axis is correctly aligned with the ceiling surface. Textures are mapped to reflect the wood grain on the blades and the metallic sheen on the housing, making it ready for immediate placement in interior scenes.

This asset is ideal for residential interiors, particularly in living rooms, master bedrooms, or covered outdoor terraces where a tropical or coastal theme is desired. It pairs effectively with rattan furniture, linen upholstery, and natural timber flooring. Professionals searching for decorative ceiling fixtures for hospitality projects, such as boutique hotels, beach resorts, or themed restaurants, will find this model useful for adding character to high-ceiling environments. It integrates seamlessly into projects requiring a blend of luxury aesthetics and vernacular design elements.
