About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp storage unit features natural wood frames and rattan-inlaid doors, integrated with a bench and coat hooks. This multifunctional entryway storage system combines closed cabinetry with an open display niche and a dedicated seating area. The structure is finished in a light natural wood veneer, accented by fine-mesh rattan panels on every door front. The unit includes upper and lower cupboards for concealed storage, while a central open shelf provides space for decorative items. To the right, a vertical panel incorporates several wall-mounted coat hooks above a low bench, creating a cohesive drop-zone for daily use. Integrated linear lighting illuminates the open shelf and the coat hook area, enhancing the unit's functional appeal.

The download is a 10.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and adjustment within your interior scenes. The geometry is clean, with textures mapped to maintain the scale of the rattan weave and wood grain. Users can easily toggle the lighting components or adjust the unit's positioning to fit specific hallway dimensions. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility, and use your preferred render engine to capture the subtle glow from the integrated light strips.

It pairs well with minimalist or bohemian interior aesthetics and works effectively in projects ranging from modern family homes to boutique hotel lobbies. Designers often search for this type of furniture when planning functional circulation spaces, seeking items that balance concealed storage with an inviting, tactile appearance. It is an ideal solution for keeping hallways tidy while providing a convenient spot for changing shoes.
