About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island and dining set features a grey marble worktop and six curved-back wooden chairs. The assembly comprises a compact kitchen island with a grey marble countertop and integrated sink, seamlessly joined to a rectangular wooden dining table. The table is paired with six minimalist, curved-back dining chairs featuring dark timber frames and upholstered cream fabric seats. The island unit is finished in a smooth, neutral grey, providing a clean contrast to the textured marble top. The set includes a full place setting with bowls, chopsticks, and decorative items, offering a complete, ready-to-use look for high-end residential interiors or modern hospitality spaces.

The download is a 96.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 8 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of individual components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base of the island and chairs for straightforward placement within a scene. Materials are mapped for standard renderers; however, users may need to re-link textures if paths are broken upon import. The high-detail geometry of the place settings can be toggled off or hidden to reduce scene overhead in larger architectural visualisations.

Ideal for open-plan residential kitchen and dining areas, this set works well in luxury apartment designs or high-end showroom renders. It is particularly effective for demonstrating flow between food preparation and social dining spaces.
